Actron Air has released a NT-SBK NEO Side PCB Kit, allowing NEO Touch Wall Controllers, manufactured before May 2022, to connect with current wireless NEO zone sensors and controllers by changing the sideboard PCB.
What This Means for You?
The Actron Air NT-SBK NEO Side PCB kit will give further flexibility in managing climate zones and a more tailored comfort experience by having the ability to access the full NEO wireless climate control suite.
Is this upgrade for your NEO Controller?
The NEO Touch Master Wall Controller's serial number will indicate if you will require the Side PCB to access the wireless suite. This can be checked by the first two digits which represent the year of manufacture and the letter in the third digit is the month.
All controllers with serial beginning with 22E and above will have upgraded sideboard fitted already.
Do I need an electrician to insert the Side PCB?
It is recommended that an electrician or qualified air conditioning installer inserts the NT-SBK NEO Side PCB Kit due to the need to isolate the AC system power at the mains power. The NEO side PCB cannot be replaced with the NEO Touch Wall Controller powered.
