In an important update for our customers, Daikin Australia's Brisbane office will not be processing spare parts for the month of May 2025. Instead, all orders will be redirected to the Sydney office.

• Technicians who deal direct communications with the Brisbane office may need to redirect communication to Sydney and be prepared for longer than usual wait times or limited responses.

• Estimators may need to take into consideration potential shipping increase costs for spare part orders.

Strategies to Overcome Challenges

While these developments present challenges, there are several strategies that technicians can adopt to minimise disruptions;

1. Confirm all orders emailed to qldspares@daikin.com.au after 01 May 2025 have been received and processed by Daikin. Being proactive will assure no orders have been overlooked.

2. Place spare part orders well in advance to mitigate potential delays. Planning ahead can help ensure that you have the necessary components on hand when required.

3. Maintain open communication with clients and customers. Keeping stakeholders updated will help adjust expectations and timelines.

We have increased the frequency of our deliveries from the Sydney warehouse and providing Australia Post Express shipping at no additional cost during this time, to help stem the wait times associated with the dispatching delays.
