HEER Scheme for NSW Installs

The HEER Scheme, or Home Energy Efficiency Retrofit Scheme, is a program focused on improving the energy efficiency of homes and small businesses in NSW.

The NSW Government is providing financial incentives to installers (to share with homeowners and builders) for making energy efficient air conditioning upgrades or new installs to NSW properties. The goal is to reduce energy consumption, lower utility costs, and contribute to environmental sustainability.

What this means for you

You could be paid a NSW Government rebate for air conditioning installations that meet the criteria;

• an approved energy-efficient air conditioning unit, and

• air conditioning unit is installed at a residential or small business property in NSW.
